Bust of John Ryan by Tom Haran

Plaster portrait bust by Tom Haran Broadcaster, publisher, critic, editor, and publican, John Ryan took part in the first Dublin Bloomsday walk in 1954 and became the secretary and one of the most active founding members of the Joyce Tower Society, which opened the James Joyce Museum in 1962. Lent by the artist.
