Author Dr. Helen Palmer will read from her debut novel Pleasure Beach, a queer feminist reimagining of James Joyce’s Ulysses set in Blackpool in 1999. Pleasure Beach was published on 16 June 2023 by Prototype. Copies of the novel will be on sale at the event.
