Ulysses Ballads

The performance will include a selection from 18 ballads inspired by James Joyce’s Ulysses by Val O’Donnell published in 2024.
The Ulysses Ballads are a collection of new and original ballads written to the airs of music that is mentioned in James Joyce’s novel Ulysses, or otherwise connected with him and his work.
The subjects of the Ballads are characters who are featured in Ulysses.
Copies of the Ulysses Ballads will be available on sale at the performance.
