This year’s lecture, given by Des Gunning is entitled:

“Far Drum (1982 and all that). Confessions of a Joycean non scholar”.

Des Gunning, a librarian and Joyce enthusiast, has been running Joyce-related events in Dublin for many years. He was involved in founding the James Joyce Centre on North Great George’s Street and was previously the director there. Des is also Founder member of the Joyceborough Finnegans Wake Reading Group
