In January 2023, Joseph Chester’s released LUCIA his first major composition for classical guitar & strings, commissioned as part of the celebrations marking the centenary of Ulysses in 2022. Joseph Chester is a multi award-nominated songwriter, composer and musician whose albums have featured in the books 101 Irish Albums You Must Hear Before You Die, by Tony Clayton-Lea, Buried Treasure by Dan Hegarty and in The Sunday Times list of the best Irish albums of all time

As 10 September is the anniversary of the publication of Joyce’s “Eveline” this event will commence with a reading of “Eveline” by Karen Kelly.
