Aidan Coleman is a Friends of Joyce Tower Society volunteer at the James Joyce Tower & Museum. Happily for the Society, he is also a gifted musician and entertainer.
FJT members know Aidan well as he has become the unofficial ‘musical director’ of many of our music-filled social gatherings and has selflessly shared his talents with us on numerous occasions.
On the Thursday of our Bloomsday Festival, we were delighted to have Aidan perform at the tower and delight visitors and volunteers alike.
Aidan charmed full houses at the tower with performances at 12.00 pm and 3.00 pm as he took those present on a wonderfully blended musical and literary odyssey. He treated the appreciative audiences to his unique interpretations of Joycean songs and some of his own spellbinding compositions.
Thanks, Aidan, for your great contribution to our Bloomsday celebrations.
