Copies of 2 photos of James Joyce and Nora with Stanislaus Joyce et al

James Joyce and his brother Stanislaus met very rarely after Joyce left Trieste in 1919. These photographs, probably taken in 1928 after Stanislaus was married to Nelly Lichtensteiger, were annotated by Lucia Joyce for her aunt May, but the details are unclear. 1. (l to r) Lucia Joyce, James Joyce, a friend, Stanislaus and Nelly Joyce. 2. (l to r) Nora and James Joyce, school director, Stanislaus and Nelly Joyce, director’s wife. Copy of original photographs lent by Ken Monaghan.
