Photograph of Sackville Street by Woodbury Series

Sackville (now O’Connell) Street was reduced to ruins in the 1916 rebellion, as the attached postcard shows. Nelson’s Pillar, in the centre, was blown up in 1966. Given by Esmonde W. Little, 1962.
