Once again, Paul O’Hanrahan delivered two outstanding reenactments of the opening (Telemachus) chapter of ‘Ulysses’ in the place where it all began – the James Joyce Tower & Museum.
It was Heritage Week at the tower and we were delighted to welcome Paul back again to perform on the Wednesday and Saturday. He began atop the iconic tower as Buck Mulligan inviting us to join him in a mock Latin mass and, having taken us through the tower as the various characters that populate the beginning of our favourite book, he ended up as the usurper in the forty foot.
Visitors and volunteers were enchanted by a performance that has now become a regular at the tower – make sure you see it when we bring Paul back again!
