The Friends of Joyce Tower Society is always keen to expand the range of its activities in the promotion of the James Joyce Tower & Museum and, indeed, all things related to the great author.
This year, we were delighted to introduce a programme of talks under the general title, ‘Tower Talks’ which will be opportunities for FJT members and others to listen to experts who have studied and written about Joyce’s life and works.
We were even more delighted that the very first of these ‘Tower Talks’ was delivered by a member of our Society (and an active volunteer), Anthony J. Jordan.
Tony delivered a talk on his latest book “James Joyce Unplugged” on Thursday September 21st at the Tower. Afterwards, he answered questions and signed copies of the book.
This inaugural ‘Tower Talks’ event was a stimulating and informative evening.
We hope to follow up with a few more ‘Tower Talks’ next year!
