James Joyce's Swiss ration book, 1918/1919

During and after the Great War, Switzerland was subject to rationing. Joyce and his family, whose names and birth years were written in this document, continued to draw rations until October 1919, when they left Zurich and returned to Trieste. When they moved on to Paris in July 1920, this and many others of Joyce’s papers were left in the possession of Stanislaus Joyce.
