This week we had a flying visit from a very important person who interrupted his busy schedule at the North Pole to drop in on his favourite tower and spend some time with his good pal Jimmy Joyce.
It was a terrific honour to welcome Santa Claus to the James Joyce Tower & Museum.
Santa, later, visited Sandycove/Glasthule where he was spotted in several local businesses and in a specially constructed grotto where he chatted to local boys and girls before heading back to the North Pole to resume his preparations for his busiest night – Christmas Eve.
According to Santa, he is making a list and checking it twice to record the names of naughty and nice children. Thankfully, it seems, most of the girls and boys from this area are to be included in the nice column!
Ho! Ho! Ho! Santa – bring us lots of pressies!
