James Joyce's wallet
James Joyce wallet, with its distinctive JJ device (initials JJ in red inside a gold triangle) was donated to the Tower by the painter Patrick Collins when the museum opened in 1962. Collins was a friend of Joyce’s family in Dublin and had spent time with Lucia Joyce on the occasion of her visit to Dublin in 1935.
